POTLUCK – We gather for a potluck on the first Sunday of the month after our service. We ask that each family brings a main dish and a side or a dessert to share.
FOOD, FUN, AND FELLOWSHIP – Occurs once per month, usually on the 3rd Friday. Dinner and dessert are provided. Indoor games and outdoor games (weather permitting) are set up. Or you can just come to visit with others.
MEN’S PRAYER MEETING – Meets each Wednesday morning from 7:30-8:30am at Family of Faith Church. Men of God from various churches in our community join together in prayer for revival.
MEN’S BREAKFAST – Men and their sons meet once per month on the second Saturday for breakfast, Bible Study, discussion, prayer, and fellowship.
YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY – Meets on Monday evening to discuss the sermon and the Bible reading plan from the past week.
WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDIES – One meets in the morning and the other in the evening. Generally, they run from fall to spring.
PINEWOOD DERBY –We provide 2 pit parties/work days for parents and children to work on their cars. On race day we finish up with a pizza party together.
VBS/KIDS CAMP – We partner with other churches in Monee to provide a weeklong time for children to grow in their faith.
CHILDREN’S MINISTRY – We provide opportunities for our 5–13-year-olds to gather to spend time together, to learn new skills, and then use those skills to serve.
HOMELESS MINISTRY – We provide a homecooked meal to the homeless once per month for about 60 people in coordination with Christ Cares. Adults and children help.
PASS – We come alongside this pro-life organization and partner with them in various projects.
SOUND SYSTEM – A team runs the sound system for church services. There’s a lot of opportunity for learning video, audio, and technology skills. View some of our videos on how to use the system here.
MUSIC MINISTRY –Doug Horne provides opportunities for all ages to utilize their musical gifts in our worship services.
NURSERY – Our nursery provides childcare for ages 0-3 during church services. Parents and other volunteers take turns caring for the children. All caregivers must first pass a background check and go through training along with providing two references.
HOME SCHOOL RESOURCE CENTER (HSRC) –
• The HSRC sports program offers homeschooled athletes the opportunity to play team sports such as basketball, soccer, volleyball, and cross country. All teams are led by Christian coaches.
• HSRC also offers a curriculum library for homeschooling families and an email loop with current information on upcoming events, field trips, and opportunities in sports, music, drama, co-ops and more.
